The Morning Chirp does not ask you to make an account, and we do not sell personal information or show ads.
What we collect
- Basic server records: things like your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser type, kept briefly to keep the site secure and working.
- In your browser: if you choose light or dark mode, the choice is saved on your device. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider handles requests to run the site.
- The NHL's image servers provide team logos and player photos, so they can see your IP address when your browser loads them.
If you search for a player, the name you type is sent to the NHL's public search service to find matches.
